The side wall manufacturing stand is a комплекс automated system designed for assembly and automatic arc welding of semi-wagon side walls in both normal and reverse positions. The system is intended for serial production of semi-wagon side walls and provides a complete processing cycle without repositioning the workpiece to additional stands.
Operating Principle
The side wall components are placed on the assembly stand, aligned using stops, and fixed with pneumatic clamps. Welding gantries move along rail guides and simultaneously weld three longitudinal seams. A frequency converter ensures smooth adjustment of the gantry travel speed up to 460 m/h in traverse mode. Mechanical seam-tracking devices with spring-loaded rollers guide the torch precisely along the weld seam without operator intervention. After welding in the normal position, the tilting device rotates the product and places it onto the support stand for reverse-side welding.
