Universal jig for hopper wagon carbody assembly

The jig is designed for the complete set of process operations involved in assembling hopper wagon carbodies without roof installation. The equipment ensures precise positioning of the underframe and side walls, synchronized operation of four lift-and-travel platforms, and convenient welder access to every carbody assembly at any height along the full length of the wagon.

Operating Principle

Carbody elements are loaded onto the jig in accordance with the process sequence, tack-welded to one another, and then all seams are fully welded. The completed assembly is removed from the jig and transferred to the next workstation.
