Rack-type storage systems are designed for storing unit loads placed on Europallets or cassettes in special cells. Maximum permissible load dimensions are 2500x1200x1700mm.
The storage operates in automatic mode. Information about storage objects can be entered by barcode scanning or manually.
The automated storage concept is based on the principles of versatility and multifunctionality. This approach makes it possible to customize off-the-shelf solutions for a fairly wide range of special customer requirements, such as, for example, double-sided loading, storage of individual goods, or integration into the production process.
Advantages of automated rack-type storage systems:
1. Optimization of space, expressed in the reasonable use of territory: vertical storages save up to 90% of space and free up dozens or even hundreds of square meters for the placement of materials and components, as well as for technological passages.
2 Time saving: materials and components are automatically retrieved and delivered to the production site. The operator does not need to move around the storage area to find and deliver the requested products.
3. Reliable accounting: The automatic system stores data on the assortment of products and materials, their location, and receipt in the storage area and release in chronological order. This allows for accurate recording of balances, write-offs, receipts, and reporting.
4. Simplification of logistics: irrational movements of materials, and maneuvering of loading and unloading equipment between racks and packages are excluded.
5. Material safety guaranteed: the design of the vertical storage fully protects the internal space from unforeseen mechanical influences, dirt, or other harmful factors.
6. Protection against unauthorized access: only authorized employees are allowed access to storage management through a recognition system.
7. Operator safety: physical and photoelectric safety barriers eliminate the slightest danger to the operator’s health during operation.
8. Easy to use: the control panel has a simple, intuitive interface that requires no special training from the operator.
9. Minimum number of personnel: one operator is enough to manage the storage.
10. Productivity increases due to the continuous flow of materials to the process areas and the uninterrupted loading of equipment.
11. Autonomous installation in the open air, outside the building, or indoors in any free area, including near operating equipment with automatic supply of materials and components from the storage area directly to the installation.
