Techvagonmash has successfully implemented a comprehensive engineering project for the establishment of a modern production facility for mounted and trailer equipment for trucks at the UzAuto Trailer plant in Samarkand.
The project was aimed at creating a highly efficient industrial production facility from scratch, meeting modern requirements for quality, productivity, and operational safety of the manufactured products.

Equipment supplied within the project
The process equipment supplied included specialized welding and assembly systems engineered and manufactured by Techvagonmash for UzAuto Trailer’s specific product range. The plant was equipped with:
- a robotic welding complex for trailer equipment assemblies, ensuring consistent weld quality and high serial-production throughput;
- a semi-trailer side-rail (longitudinal beam) assembly and welding line, capable of producing side rails from 380 to 700 mm high and up to 14,000 mm long;
- positioners for trailer frames, providing convenient and safe weldment positioning during welding;
- a robotic assembly and welding complex for dump-truck sideboards, used for mounted body-equipment production.

Project Results
As a result of the project implementation, UzAuto Trailer obtained:
- a modern, technologically advanced production facility;
- well-established processes for serial production of trailer and mounted equipment;
- an increased level of production localization;
- a solid foundation for further expansion of the product range and production volumes.
The UzAuto Trailer project clearly demonstrates Techvagonmash’s capabilities in turnkey production setup — from design and supply of special process equipment to installation supervision, commissioning, and training of the customer’s personnel.
