The press enables a set of technological operations related to compression of the draft gear before its installation on the railway car. The draft gear is compressed in the horizontal plane.
Operation principle
The draft gear complete with yoke and front follower is placed on the base, it is compressed and a clamping clamp is installed to fix it. The draft gear is then transferred to the next workstation.
