The filter unit is designed to clean air of mechanical impurities and metal dust generated during shot blasting or grit blasting of metal parts to remove rust and scale. The unit is integrated into the shot blasting chamber’s ventilation system and provides an air cleaning efficiency of 99.95%, meeting current industrial sanitary and environmental requirements.
Operating principle
Сontaminated air from the shot blasting chamber is drawn by the fan’s negative pressure into the lower compartment of the housing, passes through the filter cartridges, and is discharged outside as clean air. Dust that accumulates on the filters is periodically shaken off by compressed air delivered through pulse-jet solenoid valves — allowing the unit to run automatically without interrupting the cleaning process.
Advantages
- High air cleaning efficiency — 99.95%, minimizing dust emissions into the workshop and surrounding environment.
- Pulse-jet regeneration system — automatic cleaning of filter cartridges with compressed air, without stopping the unit.
- Easy maintenance — removable covers, access hatches, and a convenient service platform provide quick access to cartridges and unit components.
