The tread of railways and rails where the transborder moves are in the same level. The wagon enters the transborder and leaves through the inclined section integrated with it.
There are a shunting winch and a system of blocks which pull wagons on the transborder and push wagons from it. The rotation speed of the winch motor is regulated by a frequency converter
There are tip-up stoppers with an electro-mechanical drive to avoid the spontaneous movement of the wagon on the transborder.
An independent running wheel drive is used on the transborder. A smooth acceleration as well braking take place thanks to a AC-drive controlled by frequency principal.
The transborder control system is based on the Siemens controllers. They control the drive and its blocking. There are mechanical motion transducers to ensure the precise positioning and synchronization of traveling gears.
There are a main control panel and local auxiliary ones on the transborder. The operator enters the specified number of the track where the rolling stock has to come from and to go out of, the transborder brings it to the appointed track.
There is a indoor and outdoor lighting for work in darkness. The transborder has a canopy against precipitation.
