2 galleries work
synchronously, only 1 gallery can work in an adjusting mode.
The synchronous operation is ensured by a synchronizer which
is situated between the galleries. The galleries have 2
control panels. One control panel is situated on the
galleries, the second one is on the column. The control
ensures a safe work for workers and eliminates the movement
up with open gates and dropped stairs for passage from the
gallery to the roof.
The galleries have an audible and light
alarm (during the movement of galleries up and down) as well
a warning alarm (that the galleries are up and the work is
done on them), eliminating the presence of a person or other
objects by sinking of galleries to their starting position.
There are emergency buttons on the column elevators and on
the galleries.
The control panel on the column has a special
access with a key and makes it possible to lift or sink the
galleries directly from the floor in worst-case situations.
Lifting and sinking drives have a tracking loop and ensure
movement synchronism and evenness. To avoid accidents the
gallery structure eliminates the possibility that foreign
objects can fall between galleries or side and front
galleries, The working area of galleries has a closed
sheathing from the sides of the columns and gates. The
galleries have stationary stairs which make it possible, in
any situation the service personnel to leave the gallery
without obstruction in case of an emergency and to go up, if
necessary, to the gallery, which makes the maintenance
flexible and convenient, The gallery floor is made of a
dinking metal sheet. On the galleries there are special
lamps of a dust-ignition-proof construction providing the
working place with illumination of 500 lx. Besides, on the
galleries there are air sockets for the quick connection of
pneumatic tools. For the treatment of front walls there are
front galleries between the workstations (between
galleries). The front gallery is destined for one worker. It
moves on the columns upright and forward along the front
wall. On the opposite side of the car the second gallery
moves towards; at that the minimal distance between the
galleries is 400 mm. On the gallery there is a control panel
from which the worker being on the gallery controls its
movement in the area as well lamps with illumination of 500
lx. After work the worker removes the front gallery from the
car, moves it down and goes out.
