Metal products are brought into
the chamber by a carriage. Then, the carriage is driven into
the chamber by a rope winch having a system of pulleys. The
work in the chamber has a following process: the product is
placed on the carriages by means of handling machinery.
Then, the carriage is pulled into the chamber. The doors are
closed, the operator cleans the product by shot blasting.
Used shots fall through the grid floor on belt conveyors
which collect shots in the elevator. Then, the shots comes
into the blaster through the cleaning system. |

The working chamber with one entrance has a closed space
where the shot blasting process takes place. The chamber is
dismountable and consists of columns, beams, panels, cross
stays, inner wall protection. The outside surface of the
chamber and of the roof has a galvanized sheet coating. The
product is transported into the chamber through a
double-wing door which is opened pneumatically.
The door closing is controlled by limit switches mounted on pneumocylinders. There is a observation window in one of the
wings to follow the operator’s state in the chamber.
There is a door at the chamber side wall to enter the
chamber. The door closing is controlled by a limit switch.
To do the shot blasting convenient the chamber has 2
jack-lifts and a stationary gallery.
The carriages move along the chamber on guides at the
chamber wall sides. Inside the chamber there are lamps
with polycarbonate light diffusers. Since the chamber stands
over the pit, the door is covered with a grate. Through this
grate the shots fall and the operator can go on it. The
system of shot circulation is intended to collect shots
thrown by the blaster, to separate it and to return it to
the blaster.
The system of shot circulation consists of belt conveyors, an elevator and a separator.
The belt conveyors transport the shot and dust mixture on the spiral conveyor and include driving, tension and intermediate sections as wee a belt.
The bucket belt elevator with centrifugal discharge is intended to transport the shot and dust mixture
In the separator vertically. Used shots fall through chamber hopper into the elevator.
The elevator is situated a little bit lower the zero point. The elevators transport the shots transport the shots upwards from the chamber base into the separator. The elevator belt is activated by a motor mouted on the elevator top. At the elevator the buckets are fixed which transport the abrasive material upwards from the chamber base into the separator. The separator separates the shots from dust and other restrictions. The separator type is pneumo-mechanical. The separator has channels to feed the cleaned shots to the blasters and one channel to bring shot excess from the separator hopper to the elevator. The separator is equipped with a choke to regulate air.
Air cleansing system
The ventilation system consists of a filter unit,
radial airways, an operating floor and sucks off dusty air
out of the chamber, cleans it and discharges into the air.
The jack-lifts elevate and
carry one worker with tools providing safety and convenient
working conditions.
Electrical control unit
consists of a metal cabinet which includes the entire
electrical equipment needed for work and safety of the
chamber in accordance to valid regulations, The electrical
equipment is intended for control of mechanisms and
assurance of safety interlock to provide work and
maintenance.
The control system is based on
universal logical LOGO modules produced by Siemens. It is
distinguished by high reliability and low costs, compact
dimensions, simple programming, installation and operation.
